Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a number of rights regarding the personal data that Stichting Diesel Emissions Justice (“DEJF”) holds about you.
Your rights
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
How to exercise your rights
Send your request to info@emissionsjustice.com. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.
Our response
We will respond within one month. This period may be extended by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will let you know.
Right to complain
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
